new fileObject();

That's probably where your openForAppend error is coming from too.

thx, now if only i could figure out how to use gettransform...
EDIT:
nvm, still not working...
EDIT3:I failed epicly...

the above gives me "function not found" and "unable to find object" errors, I would appreciate explanations of WHY and how its fixed.

wizzlemanizzle I suggest not trying this.

that script? why not?
I have been attempting to make the thing work for a little while now.
just to try to familiarise myself with the fileobject functions.

But if you can't even write a simple function, you shouldn't be working with files.

... forgive that epic failure, I need new eyes.

We all make mistakes. c:

I finally got the bastard to work.... changing to "new fileobject" instead of newfileobject did the job, the other problem came from my failure to notice that i had put " %file = open forappend();" which of course makes no sense...

also,
We all make mistakes. c:
thx for the positive notion, glad to hear you see it that way...
unlike SOME people...

are there any OTHER things you can do with this information other than write it and read it?(not that that isnt useful as it is, merely inquiring.)
