Tips for TF2 newcomer

When you get the Axtinguisher, use it, if you get the Degreaser, i highly advise you use that in combination with the Axtinguisher because the Degeaser makes you quick switch (look in the advanced options for this) faster
You can craft two weapons to make a scrap metal, it takes three scrap metal to make a reclaimed metal, it takes three reclaimed metal to make a refined metal, refined is the highest level of crafting metal

two weapons? I thought it was three. Well, I know that part of crafting. What are some gameplay tips for different classes?

Get pyros to light arrows on fire
Use the huntsman, it's fun :D
Soldiers are the cheapest class and require no skill
Use Southern Hospitality or Tribalman's shiv to deal with a spy

I use the Powerjack. It saps health and has no downsides.
