Something you probably never noticed

Plate is so utterly simple I don't understand how it could be bad.

Right, there was a draw distance of 10000 or something which doesn't matter anymore.

That's really trivial unless you've got absolutely massive structures that span that area, in which case you can set your own draw distance to low anyway. I mean you're not rendering world geometry or anything.

Back in the day draw distances were set percentages of the map's draw distance. There was a minimum percentage, 10%, which means you'd be forced to see 1000.
