holy crap! they finally improved the game instead of adding useless stuff!

A feature that allows you to record all of the events that occur in the game to view later in a separate mode from dynamic viewpoints and such, rather than just recording your display.
Many upon many games have this, on PC and even consoles.
Edit: Even Blockland used to have it because it came with TGE. But Badspot removed it because it didn't work due to add-ons.

They're the same graphics as the gameplay, because it just re-simulates the game.

No no no no. It should be like Halo, where it's always being recorded, and then when you play a really good game or something, you have the recording right there.
Also, you should be able to have people 'tagged' in it like Halo (when someone saves a recording, anyone who shows up in the video is tagged in it)

Games like Halo and CoD save the replays to the servers. They are never on your hard drive, and aren't being processed by the client.
That's not a bad thing though, and is probably a better option anyways.
