Desert dunes
Under a Christmas tree
Inside a microwave
Under the bedroom (Sort of an under ground map with lots of wires and pipes)
Inside a hedge
Under a bed (lots of interesting things under there, haha)
Iceberg
Floating airbase on Jupiter
A convenience store
Landing strip
Office desk
Desert oasis
A well
Parking lot
A shipping crate
Colosseum
Stonehenge
Bridge trusses
Crashed space ship
Sunken ship
Rail yard
Under water map- To create the effect of being under water, without the annoying light blue coloring or floating, use a blue sky. Model domes to build under.
Race track
Warehouse

Still need more?

I like the office desk Idea, but it would be pretty stupid to have just a desk in the middle of the field or like floating... If I can think of how to put that to good use I might make the office desk.

You could try putting it in an office. :cookieMonster:

lol but that's almost the same amount of work as making the simpsons house.
Feh, fine, an office it is.
Also, if anyone knows a good place to find textures, that would help alot. :D
I suck at making my own and don't want to use the default ones..
oo! I could use Counterstrike textures! xD

I could port a massive simpsons map from CS 1.6/CSS..

but aren't those maps in a diff format that Hammer only exports but can't load em?
Because I have came across some really good maps that would fit really well with Blockland, but Hammer doesn't open that format.

And I am currently working on a map, more of an object from my map though.
It's a bus!  :cookieMonster:
(I still have no Idea how I would do the wheels)

BSP2MAP pls. :>
Yeah, That simpsons map is awesome. You want me to convert the models?

Sorry for sort of reviving this thread, but, I have looked into BSP2MAP, and I can't get it to work, it's usually a .zip that contains an .exe and a readme, I have no idea what the readme is telling me, so if you guys maybe gave me some step by step instructions that would be great, and I would give you a present!
Thanks.

Anyone please help?

New problem, don't feel like creating a new topic based around the same concept.
Exporting .difs with hammer!
I made a .wad, set it to hammer, yet hammer doesn't recognize it, thus not letting me go on.
Any suggestions on how to fix this? when making the wad I used the Half life option.
Thanks in advance.
mmm nvm, your tutorial is missing a step.

You did use wally to make a Half Life Package (wad3 / .wad)?
Find the .wad and set it in texture options.
I use hammer 3.5 to make interiors, any newer version get annoying to use.

I'm planning on using Constructor for any further map making, it seems to be less buggy.
As for the tutorial, it was missing a quite obvious yet crucial step, where you just had to create a new game profile.
