Does the duplicator always do this?

I've submitted a bug about the shotgun, which was the first add-on ever on there. Even Badspot had a complaint about it when he was on my server long ago.
Ontopic: It may be doing that because you don't have JVS enabled.

What was the bug? Was it projectiles not sizing with the player?

Yes, and Badspot's complaint was the recoil, especially since I showed him that by using freelook, you can propel yourself forward.
