He was clearly justified in calling you a "stupid prick". You used the possessive your instead of the contraction you are, in addition to punctuating that insult with a question mark when it clearly calls for a full stop or interrobang.

Wrong.
First part was true but you use the question mark as if saying, for example
"I WANT THE BEST BUILDERS"
"You're not even close to the best?" If you get my logic, basically asking him "And you think you're close to being the best"?
I guess that'll do.

Then the proper syntax would be "Are you even close to the best?". In the interrogative with the verb "be" as the active verb, the verb should precede the subject.

This is true but most people don't want some random person building crap on their 'professional' build.
