My friend is having trouble running the CD-version of GTA: SA on Win7.

No luck. I tried XP SP3, and Vista SP1, but it still crashed in exactly the same way.

Try running as administrator.

Try running windows in XP Mode.

Note: You need to install GTA: SA again for it to work.

strange i can run my retail version just fine
and i didnt patched anything
maybe its your pc?
