| My first impression on Blockland and it's comparison to other simular game |

Hello, My name is Sheip. And I have played Blockland for 1 day , and I know many of you may think "Ok , so he plays for one day and he makes a review". But I decided to make a first impressions thread on what I think of Blockland , and compare it to other simular games. I have played ROBLOX for 3 years and I quit the day I bought blockland , I also sold my account for $150USD , because it was a very old account and had very rare items. ( I will not give out my username for various reasons ). I will update this review whenever I get more information to review. Please do not flame or troll this thread , thanks ;) Community - Blockland Blockland consist of a mature community who enjoy to play games and forum , though the community is a hostile at times , they still can be nice people. The topics on General Discussion appear to be thought out well and it does not have much spam. When I entered my first game I was immediately greeted and I received help when I asked how to play. So in General the community is helpful and nice. Community - ROBLOX The ROBLOX community consists of mostly a younger audience withen the ages of 6 - 12. Though there are some older players who play it , at least 80% of ROBLOX is 6 - 12. The forums are not very hostile , but the players how post on it are quite immature and usually post mindless spam and scams . When In - game players seem to not get the overall goal and walk around aimlessly. Most players don't talk , and when they do it only consist of insults such as "noob" "idot" "and loser". When you ask for help you either receive none or you get insulted by the younger players. Though there are some people who will help you , the community in general will not. Most games also either consist of Online Daters who enjoy passionate virtual kissing moments , and when there "mate" is not looking , they will then cheat on him. This usually results in a fight where two other guys will have a bloody virtual fight to the death and the winner gets the "girl". Intense. Forums - Blockland Like I stated in the "community" part , these forums have good topics , almost no spam , and intelligent responses. Though the only problem I see in the forums is that there is alot of fighting and flamming. Though this is preferable over the mindless spam on the ROBLOX forums. The Blockland creators were also smart in not letting people who have not registered there Serial Key not be able to post in the "General Discussion". So spammers / haters of Blockland cannot spam in the more important sections. Forums - ROBLOX When I first joined ROBLOX the forums consisted of almost no spam , though that was in early 2008. Soon ROBLOX changed from being an "online building game" to being an "Online Social Hangout". So naturally this attracted a younger audience. The forums usually consist of pointless topics and spam , though the older players try to stay On Topic , the younger ones tend to make spam topics and scam topics. So foruming is a bit pointless. Admins / Mods - Blockland One thing that I enjoy about Blockland is the freedom of speech and liberty that we have. Bans are not given unfairly and we can voice our opinions , I also like how the Blockland admins have a sense of humor. Though I can't say much more since I am new to this community Admins / Mods - ROBLOX ROBLOX moderators and admins are only money hungry. They stopped releasing hats for Tickets and now they are only for Robux ( a currency that only members acquire ). You cannot voice your opinion against the ROBLOX staff , if you do so you get a ban. You cannot talk about any of there competition Lego , Blockland , Minecraft , etc or you get a ban. They don't monitor there bans and are lazy. I once got a 7 day ban for saying "So is ROBLOX like building with legos?". They didnt even see what I wrote , they only saw the word "Lego" and banned me. The mods also insult the players and then delete the thread to cover it up , there was also a time during "Live Cast" when a Administrator called "Telamon" thought they were offline and said "The loving internet isn't working". A couple hundred little kids heard that and after a couple of minutes the whole forum was talking about what he said "So Telamon banned everybody who made / responded to a thread and covered up the whole incident. When looking for support on ROBLOX you only get an automated responce depending on what your contacting them for , so when I contacted them that someone got on my account and stole 11,000 Robux they only sent me a email saying "Dear **** an account can only be hacked if you give someone your password or you have an easy pass , you should probobly change you pass and...". I got this responce 3 times even though I had proof who the hacker was. |

The staff of Roblox is greedy (from what the general player sees from their actions), the game is focused with unnessicary intensity to a "younger age group" and the community is generally terriable. The game itself, not that bad. Though I haven't played in over a year and a half. |
