Portal 2, What?

So, last night when I got the game, I played it for an hour before I went to bed. I wake up this morning wanting to play it again. It loads all the way to the menu, but then when I try to go ingame, the entire game has a sound glitch from whatever dialogue the character was speaking at that point. It then proceeds to fully crash, with no message of any kind to tell me why.
TL;DR
I played the game, but no longer can.

VALVe seems to be more careless now. Team Fortress 2 also has a ton of glitches that it didn't have before, and they don't care.
It seems that, anytime anything updates now, it gets updated with glitches, not fixes. I would imagine the same could be said for new releases from them.

Tf2 is fine for me, and so are all of VALVe's other games, Any glitches that they had when I got them are gone.
