No loving stuff that's what it's from, that's the point of pixel art.

stuff just got a lot easier.

I'm being nice to you and you're being MEAN D:! :8yearold:
PS: I like it how you're getting all defensive over nothing.

HERE U GO! :D

pixel art requires barely any skill and you can't tell if somebody image2brick'd it or if they legitly made it.

You can tell the difference between the two easily.

what? it's extremely easy to tell :I

This was made by Krystal somewhere in early 2009. He's the best pixel-arter I've seen, this is just the first and one of many he has made.

One of these was made by hand, the other used img2brick.  Take a guess.

Way to be an ass, mate. Just because it's on a higher level of detail doesn't suddenly mean it was made from img2brick.

This was made by Krystal shortly after he joined, I doubt he even knew what img2brick was (If it even existed at this time) and regardless I know for fact he didn't use it.

To prove that img2brick wasn't used just take out your wrench, hammer, or any other brick tool and take a picture. I think everyone should do that posting pixelart.

Stop comparing every pixel art there is to Krystal! He was the best there was, we know that.
He doesn't img2brick though. I've seen him make these.

Not everyone has to be just as good as him.

Its not hard to do pixel art. You guys make it sound like Krystal is the only one that can do that kind of detail without img2brick...

Its as simple as copying/saving any picture you wana make, open with any picture editing program, and zoom in to see the grids. You practically made a map to use. (the bigger/smaller Resolution the picture, the more time and complexity the picture takes to make)

Obviously you have to edit your paint pallet to support multiple colors (Krystal must have edited his pallet, otherwise it would have given him weird shades)

Its fun to make pixel art and I make pixel art aswell once in a while but to say Krystal is the best at making pixel art is like saying Bob is the best at reading a book and thus calling someone "Like a Bob" or "You can never beat Bob" is pointless.

Who are you?

I wasn't being an ass.  There are many indicators that this person used img2brick.  Mainly, there is unneeded white space around the picture, which is something img2brick does, making it a perfect square.  Also, whe shading done looks like something generated by a computer scaling an image down.  Sure, there is a fine chance that img2brick was not used, but there are more indicators pointing the other way.  Maybe Krystal liked the extra white bricks, and maybe crystal either is so amazing at art that he was able to shade it perfectly, or copied it from an existing picture pixel by pixel, which is what I did in the banana.  I stated my opinion, and that is that.

Also I never said a higher level of detail.  That is your opinion.  In my opinion this is pretty much average pixel art.

Wait, I don't understand.  img2brick uses macros, and builds just like anything else.  What would taking out a building tool and taking a picture prove?

I still don't think so. Different shades isn't even an indicator, maybe the white space but he was using a reference picture. It was made by hand, he did use a reference picture, but it was made the old fashion way.

I have my own points to why I did not use Img2Brick, and how you can tell:

Why not:
1. I hate it, I think it's just lazy and people should take time in what they create.
2. I don't understand it.
3. I don't know where the hell to get it.

How you can tell:
1. Many people have seen me make these brick-by-brick.
2. I say I didn't use Img2Brick.
3. Usually, when you are jealous of someone's Pixel Art you try to find ways to ring the fact that it's great and accuse them of Img2Brick.

(Also, go ahead and flame me for my use of Bold and Italics)
