I don't get how most people are joining GBRP because they think the ABO as a whole is a pack of bigots that want to murder every loving bronie on this forum and just cause more handicappedness in off topic. Most of the propaganda depicting that we made is purely just for jokes if you fail to realize this. Supporting the GPRB isn't any better in my opinion, even though you think you might be fighting to shut us "bigots" up and protect the expressive rights of forum MLP fans is still not taking away the reatarded-ness that is ensuing in Off topic. Please realize that this all started when MLP hit the forums, and the failure of its flamboyant fans to realize that there would be natural, unchangeable opposition to it and their reaction to this opposition.
I don't hate every bronie with a burning passion believe it or not. The reason I joined ABO was to keep the My Little Pony stuff in the My Little Pony thread (or hate threads), and not have it stain multiple off topic threads. I voiced these concessions multiple times, but they were rejected and I must continue supporting ABO due to not fulfilling this goal.
As for my experience with the show, I just find it mindless and boring, and fail to realize why people here enjoy it, besides for maybe a dirty joke or 2, but those can be found in many places. The cuteness, art style, and innocence of the show can also be found in many other cartoons in anime, nothing special about it. I have not found one show element within it which makes it different from any other show. This is my personal opinion, coming from a strong minded individual. You will not change my opinion about this or any of my other points. Call me close-minded, unlovable, cruel, idiotic, intolerant, I will not care.
