Don't even try and draw parallels here.
Furrys are hated because what they do is seen as bestiality by many people. Bronies are basically animecigarettes that are flamboyant over a certain american production, and from what I've seen, like sixty or seventy percent of this forum is weeaboo to some degree, and I haven't seen anyone get angry at anyone over an anime avatar yet.
