Best version of Wine for hosting BL servers?

I need a version that can atleast get me into the game and host BL.
I was able to long ago with wine, but I forgot what version was that.
Best version I got working is 1.2.1

much better than wine, IMO.
Stupid jokes aside, just don't get Linux. Problem solved.

I'd suggest using the latest one.
Also, I've used the one on the Ubuntu 10.10 repos with somewhat success (not being able to reload server-list after leaving a server).

alright, I'll guess I'll wait for 11.10, because when I installed graphical drivers the thing died on me.

How about trying with Debian/Fedora/OpenSUSE?
