Author Topic: Problem with audio?  (Read 958 times)

I bought counter strike about a month ago and i noticed a problem that is very annoying.

I use headphones on my computer. i like using headphones because i dont like the crappy built in speakers HP puts on their laptops. One day i noticed that when someone uses their microphone on counter strike, all sound stops coming out of the headphones, instead it starts playing out of the speakers. And the only way i can get it to work on the headphones again is to restart my laptop, which is a major pain in the ass. This has happened everyday, and i hate this.

Can someone please help me with this? please, its really frustrating.

Also, if you dont have anything helpful to say, please dont post here. im looking for people who are going to be serious about this and who will help.

Mute people's mics before they talk.

You should be able to disable voice-chat in the multiplayer section of the options menu.
Something like that, anyway, haven't played CS:S in ages

This is the most helpful post yet  /sarcasm

Make sure whatever audio drivers you have are updated, too.
