I don't get it, I always imagined die-hard weeaboos as the last people to have autistic tantrums over a cute cartoon like Friendship is Magic.
Seems to me like they're just trying to retain what masculinity they still have after enjoying things like Azumanga and Touhou.

Doesn't mean they have to obsessively block everything related to the show. I mean, they don't just dislike it, they hate it.
