My Fellow Blocklanders,
Today, we have achieved something great. For once in our life as a community, we have transpired our aggressions and mutually distaste for one another and congregated en masse to a single facility. And, as an added bonus, I am not aware of any verbal or physical combats since the start of the event. My hat is off to each and every one of you, truly.
There is no doubt that today will go down in the history books. For once, a group of angst ridden teens and preteens have managed to set aside their perpetual states of PMS and worked together towards the greater good. Even though we all have our faults, some more than others (I'm looking at you, Kalphiter), we are all love-struck bitches when it comes to admiring petty one liners that Badspot spews out occasionally, and that is a bond tighter than family.
So, rejoice. Rejoice at this opportunity to escape the monotony of daily tedium in lieu of something magnificient. Rejoice in the fact that, for the first time, you are surrounded by people just as socially inept as you are. Rejoice that you can quote Internet memes out loud, and someone might just know what you're talking about. Granted, nobody will laugh, but nobody ever did anyways.
