Not really much actual modeling here, but it's still pretty.

What renderer did you use? Also, drop the people. They look ugly. White world?

Never learned how to make a world, unfortunately

Never heard of it. What did you use to model?

It's a program by Autodesk; they make AutoCAD, Inventor, and 3DSMax.

Like I said, not really much modeling on my part. In fact, I didn't do any modeling at all except for the house itself. Most of the furniture was pre-loaded, the rest I had to find elsewhere. The whole thing was more difficult that it may seem though, the pictures you see are the result of an entire semester of work. There are other fully furnished rooms I don't have pictures of, unfortunately.

Oh wow. I could probably replicate those two images with Blender and Yafray in about three days. If I did really sloppy but visually nearly identical work.

didn't realize it was a contest

Not what I meant. I was just amused how so seemingly simple scene took that long to create.

I quickly put that together in the last hour.

We get to model using Autodesk: Inventor at my school. c:

Pity I don't have a copy at home. :c

You should try to take off the grain/noise.

I reduced it a bit.

And I made a mistake with the focus.

I hate how I can't see TinyPic images. They simply won't load.
