How do you create add-ons?

Choose blender.
It may seem complicated, but after you look up some tutorials and get used to the interface, smooth sailing from there.

Not to mention you can make much more complex models with ease, like sketchup

Anyone can learn to script if they have a sense of logic and insight, modeling requires you be artistic to some extent, though both require dedication.

I can have multiple people working on an add-on right? And let's say I want reloading animations, is that in scripts?
