Not even, in Japanese they're all like "KONNICHIWA KUHWAIYEE DESSSOOOO" and in Dutch they're all like "WERR ZEEN MINE KLOMPEN".

Dutch is way harder.
Yes, the pronunciation would be harder for people that normally speak English I guess. But Japanese has all those different syllabaries and characters. I think once you get a hold of Dutch, it wouldn't be that hard.

The forget would you want to live in Italy?
The problem about that question is that it could be asked about any country and doesn't really have a straight answer. Different people will have different reasons why they'd like to live somewhere.
But, there are often common traits that would make most people not want to live somewhere.
So I ask you, why wouldn't you want to live in Italy?

You can probably memorize the kanas in a week, and then learn words and their corresponding kanji at the same time and you'll have the language down in no time. It's simpler than ebonics in prose, and has literally no phonemes or difficult sounds.

Dutch on the other hand is a Germanic language, and nearly as complicated as English.

I hate Italy.

Dutch on the other hand is a Germanic language, and nearly as complicated as English.
I always wondered who came up with Germanic languages and why they're so complicated.

Why?

English isn't hard at all to me. Sure, I can't talk or write like a poet but just having a simple conversation with someone is pretty manageable.
Also, I thought Japanese was one of the hardest languages in the world, or was that Chinese?

English is required for a pilot's license as all air control towers are required to speak it.
English is spoken by a large number of people in almost every 1st world country.
English is the main language spoken in the United States which is a consumerism hub and if you want to market overpriced glittery stuff look no further.

Japanese is spoken in only two countries as a main language, but Japan is the hyper-tech center of the world.
Japanese Internet is almost completely seperate from the English Internet. Most websites designed for the Japanese do not allow foreign IPs to view their content. Japanese allows you to broaden your commercial reach to an entirely new, very tech-hungry market.

Chinese is spoken by the most people in the world.
Chinese is the main language of China, the most rapidly developing militaristic and industrial country in the world.

Ibanese is the official language of the Iban people, a small African tribe.
Ibanese cannot be used commercially, as the tribe is not technologically developed.
Ibanese is spoken by very few people.

So, it's much more beneficial to know English, Japanese, or Chinese than it is to know Ibanese.
