Author Topic: Nothing  (Read 3106 times)

Where is your proof that it's impossible to conceive nothing? You can't just establish a hardline rule like that without evidence.

Nothing is the absence of something. That's conceivable.

The inside of a vacuum compressor doesn't have anything, even atoms (if the vacuum is strong enough). Therefore, nothing.

Just think about it, nothing. It's inconceivable to interpret what nothing is. People always picture nothing but black or white, but really, that's not how it would be. It's physically impossible for our minds to comprehend what nothing really means. I've kept myself at night thinking about this.
Me too :D

The inside of a vacuum compressor doesn't have anything, even atoms (if the vacuum is strong enough). Therefore, nothing.
Light.
The only known (I am pretty damn sure) thing that can move light without refraction is a black hole.

You cant physically picture nothing in your mind.

It is completely inconceivable.

Light.
Dig a deep hole and take the loving vacuum with you and bury yourself with the compressor on. >:c

Humans are used to the presence of something in every situation. We don't remember our expierences with nothing.

But if we exist without anything else, than there is the presence of something.

Ugh, too much thinking.

You cant physically picture nothing in your mind.

It is completely inconceivable.
INCONCIEVABLE!

I however do not explain this very well.

You cant physically picture nothing in your mind.

It is completely inconceivable.
Wrong

Absence of something. Completely conceivable.

'Nothing' is another one of those terms used to describe an intangible thing. Take time for instance, we can't grasp and handle it outside of units and measurements.

The inside of a vacuum compressor doesn't have anything, even atoms (if the vacuum is strong enough). Therefore, nothing.
Way to ignore everything I said here:
See, the thing is, a total absence of anything is theoretically impossible in our universe, there is no such thing as a perfect vacumn, because particles are popping in and out of existance constantly.

Wrong

Absence of something. Completely conceivable.

What do you picture it as? blackness? White? Well that's something.

Dig a deep hole and take the loving vacuum with you and bury yourself with the compressor on. >:c
There will still be energy (heat, kinetic, potential, whatever), even without visible light.
What do you picture it as? blackness? White? Well that's something.
NOPE.
Because nothing is seen as black to humans.
That doesn't mean that it is black.

Way to ignore everything I said here:
Oops. I guess I didn't give a stuff to go to the page before this because I want to overthink what "nothing" is. Sorry about that.

Nothing is seen as black because humans cannot conceive what nothing truly is, so we picture it as what we would imagine it to be.
