AMD processors, basically you get what you pay for. From what I know, AMD processors hotter, usually don't perform as well as Intel processors, but are cheaper in price.
Intel processors are more expensive, but worth it. They run cooler than similar AMD processors, run faster, but cost more.
It used to be the complete opposite a few years ago, actually, but I'm not taking sides. AMD's good if you're trying to save money, Intel's good if you have enough money to spend.
