The whole point is to be a alt shotgun.
If it could be it defeats the purpose, there is a problem if every weapon you have can be countered by a pyro, or you can go melee and die twice as fast.

True, I'm never pyro though. So it shouldn't matter much to me lol......
I was thinking of it as a mini cow mangler, even though it's not.

I love it, so much fun, not so smart to use if you are serious as most rocket launchers top it, but fun none the less.
