As like a downside? --- End quote --- yeah, the grenade launcher simply doing less damage if you forget to airburst would be neat. i would imagine the airburst-grenades have their own individual timer that starts up when they're first spawned, but either way is cool |

It's like a medic preparing his ubercharge in startup. He can get it ready before any fighting happens. |

Or when a teammate comes to the engineer asking for one. It's like you become a dispenser sorta kinda. You put them close to the frontlines but not right at them, and when a teammate needs to heal/reload they come to it and go back. |
