I was made fun of a lot for playing exceptionally well on the Annoying Orangeet in 6th.  They all called me a 'Band Nerd', which didn't effect.  I didn't have any friends at the time, until I met 3 kids in band who were awesome, funny, and really good at their instruments, too.  Ever since then, people have respected me for some reason.
