I'm having issues with posting.

I'm here as a witness to say that it actually is a lot more convenient than you would think to have those buttons on your mouse.
Though I can't see using them on different sides, my laptop mouse has both back and forward on the same side.
The thumb side by the way.

It also has a sensitivity changer on top. :D
