Idk bout u guys, but hypercam lags da stuff outa mah. And it somehow just randomly speeds up way to fast and then the sound doesn't. I wouldnt risk it.

If you want something like hypercam, use Krut. Free good quality screen recorder which runs on java so it works on most operating systems.

camstudio.
It's basically the same thing as hypercam, etc. There's no quality difference, they all use the same video compressors that are on your computer. You could record a video in Camstudio or Hypercam and then record one in the $300 Camtasia Studio and have the exact same quality. They all just have different interfaces, pretty much.
You can also choose 100% uncompressed in anything, which is exactly what fraps does.
