This is correct. However if you are not planning on spending a penny Hypercam is the way to go since you get infinite recording time and the watermark is not that bad.

It will scan for gmes, ignore that. Exit out of it, and when you play a game, look at the top left corner, and there should be a green square. When you record, that should be gone. Make sure to set you settings to your liking, though.

Or you could use Camstudio or FSR which are exactly the same thing as Hypercam, but are free and don't have a watermark.

I thought that Camstudio was a free trial, not actually 'free'.
