I think he messed up there -- Originally he stated that Tom said he couldn't use TNT, then there in that quote he said that Tom said he couldn't use lava.

This is why I don't read TL;DR's often, because I don't get full details on what's happening.
Unlike you, I read the drama and actually understand Seventh's problem. Stop getting your ass into stuff because it isn't going to get you anywhere.
