| Need a "film" for my Blockoworld exibit. |

You see, in BlockoWorld, Syerjchep's booth is a movie theather currently. And I've developed a script which lets someone set a particular print brick of theirs to be set to cycle though a range of the server's prints. Thing is, I need a film, and because I don't want to take someone's without permission, and filesize is an issue, I need one with the following restrictions: * Less than three minutes long. --- I can't expect people to actually spend time watching a long film in blockland espically if it's already public. * The sound can't be important. --- While sound syncing is possible, it's difficult and sound will greatly increase needed filespace. * Shouldn't be a high-res movie, nothing where great graphics are nessacary. --- The "film" will be cut down to basically one or two frames per second, and shrinked down to 256x256, and possibly even smaller where possible. * Something somewhat serious, hopefully blockland related. --- Relevance is good, and also if it's ingame then graphics won't be so important. Notes: * Target range of 'processed' movie is about 2.5 mb, these days downloading that from blockland is no big deal, and the 'processed' movie will be much much smaller than the one that is given to me. * No, I won't be releaseing this, it's not a very efficent add-on, it takes good amount of space, though if you want it for something specific, we can talk. * oh and tom said it's okay lol |

I would recommend one of Eksi's videos. Really good Blockland related, well put together videos there... and are short, goofy ones. :) |

This sounds pretty cool, I recommend one of the short Car Adverts by Billy1 as a short Blockland Related Movie. Btw, 2.5 Mb in what Format? Mp4 is pretty small. |

The most each frame would usually be (talking high res real life shot here) is maybe 100kb. At that rate, you can go about a minute for 5mb at one frame per second. However, more simple animation will reduce the file size by many times, I have a simple ball bounce animation preview for testing and the whole thing is only 3kb, or about 0.2% of a megabyte for 15 frames. |
