don't look into a mirror when you lucid dream
is this true?
yes, but it's not incredibly mind forget scary. You'll probably see the back of your head or someone else, but if you believe that there's a giant purple orange behind you then you'll see one in the mirror.

Most of my lucid dreams are about random things, or they're about Homestuck.

Lucid dreams aren't about random things, that's the idea of a lucid dream. You control it.

I looked into a mirror last time I had a lucid dream, I saw myself, just blurry.

I will try to Lucid dream tonight
Wish me luck

Would this count as lucid dreaming?:
Late at night, watching videos on your iPod. The video starts getting extremely forgeted up. You pause the video, and lay the ipod down on your bed to gather your bearings. When you try to pick it up again, but can't find it. You search frantically for a few seconds, then you remember you put the iPod in the charger on the other side of your bed about an hour ago. Also, looking back on it, you can't remember how you started watching that video in the first place inb4Inception

Reminds me of the time I fell asleep while on the computer, and I had a "dream" about the video i was watching.

I usually just stick to what it started at.

I wish I could Lucid Dream. I did for a while, but then I didn't practice n' stuff.

practice then.

the only way to do it is with time and patience

The only lucid dream I've had was where I was in space hopping across 3 rectangular blocks
and then I lost control

Every dream after that seems so real and I can never tell if it's a dream or not
Before I think I've only fell asleep for a second and woke up right after, resulting in a fall but no impact.

Someone should ask another character in dream:
Where badspot lives
Where the space core is
Who was phone

then slap them.

Mega tip for those who want to start Lucid dreaming, I've been trying/failing/winning for over a year now and there are two ways which both work extremely well.

First Technique:

1. Make yourself tired. The more tired, the better.

2. Have a small amount of light coming into the room

3. Make sure its not night time because then you'll fall asleep and wont have a WILD.

4. Do not sleep on your side with your body facing a wall. Sleep with your face pointing at the ceiling (This helps quite a lot).

5. Do not think large amounts but let your mind focus on something, if you think you will not lucid dream let alone sleep.

Second Technique:

Basically set your alarm clock to 4-7 AM (or later depending on your sleep habits). Wake up, do step 4 and 5. This is the way I can trigger it. If you do all these then you have 70-90% chance of lucid dreaming.

Also, if you suffer from waking up in your WILD, use a simple image of a battery life to see how awake you are (works for me).
