Author Topic: Having two muzzlePoints on a gun.  (Read 1799 times)

So I made this gun that shoots out of two areas and so i added two muzzlePoints but when I got it in-game it didn't work. It only came out of one.

If the points are close, just put a single muzzlePoint inbetween both of them. That's one way.

Or put one on the barrel you'd rather it be shot out of.

Put one mount point in the middle, and make it spawn multiple projectiles.

There might be a way to put distance between where they spawn, don't know.

Well I guess ill try the joint in the middle first.

Won't work.
Exporter will rename the extra muzzlepoint bone.
I tried it myself.

Hm weird because I know Satrofortress did it once but im not sure what model.

He used some other way of doing it.

You have one muzzle point and, as Pi said, just make it shoot multiple projectiles using script values.

Or, you can make an empty akimbo weapon, put the muzzlePoint on that so it lines up with the other one, then set the script so it fires both at the same time.

A bit too complicated for a simple problem, isn't it?

Well, if you really need it to be like that...

also that would only require you to change 1 character from the default akimbo script. And a few more for the height difference.

Not complicated at all?
