Author Topic: I'm considering enlisting in the military  (Read 9657 times)

Am I the only one who wants to join the Army? D=

I want to join either the Air Force, or the Army. They get to see Area 51 and not get shot at.

Sorry I have no clan  :cookieMonster:

I'd go for the airforce if I had the choice.

My older cousin is in the Marines.
He said he'd rather be in the Navy.

Join the damn coastguard.

join marines because when cyrosleep is invented, you can sleep 'till 2552 and fight methane breatthing aliens with mister chief.

I remember the bus driver for our orchestra trip to the Bahamas was talking about his career in the Air Force during the 70's and he mentioned Area 51. He said that it was just a testing facility for spy planes and stealth technology or something like that, and that most of the place was underground. He said there was this one time a plane landed, taxied to the end of the runway, and just appeared to sink into the ground, because the end of the runway was a huge elevator.

The thing about the military is you might get good comrades and drill instructor and whatnot. But you might get idiot friends, sadistic drill sergeant, all of the sort.

Take care of your self, yo. and DO NOT slap the D.I

Air-force mechanic sounds cool. Maybe hacker guys.

Join the airforce. It's by far the coolest, because then you get to learn how to fly. This means you can fly for leisure when you finish. I've been flying with others who've done just that, and although I am against war completely, flying is just... amazing. You could then become a pilot as well, and make a nice amount of money each year. Flyin's a good job mate.

Depending on your grades and being in high school (or going into college) I would take ROTC instead of enlisting. That way you will become an officer, make more pay, and get more benefits. however, its your choice not mine. Also, you can ask me any questions too (My dad was in the army for 26 years and i moved a bunch and was exposed to much military life.)

Pretty sure you need really good eyesight to be a pilot.
