Same thing wih spongebob, AND the FairlyOddParents.

Everything after a movie=HUGE stuff BLUH BLUH

Spongebob's animation has gotten worse and worse. I remember seeing the one where he's rich, and Spongebob just look totally WTF.

Fairy Odd Parent's animation went so strange. It went to literal cartoony, overused jokes, primitive plots. I SAW THIS YESTERDAY, THEY'RE MAKING IT LIVE ACTION. LOOK UP THE COMMERCIAL, IT LOOKS TERRIBLE. I think it's their excuse to reuse those 3D Fairy Odd Parent models from the Jimmy Neutron combination episodes, because they're definitely the same ones.

I remember "Hey Arnold!"

What happened to that?

I loved that show... I heard they're making new ones, but that was like a year ago. Then again, it usually takes longer. I'd look it up if I wasn't so afraid of what I'd find.

when did they add the kinda-main character little black girl neighbor? i liked her

Susie... Don't remember when she came in, but she was a good counterpart to Angelica. Kept her under control at times.

The main point of this topic is the misuse of a brand. If they really want money, don't drag the brand through the mud and change everything it used to stand for just to make it. Make a new show with new characters. At the very least, you're making it not follow what it used to. That just looks wrong.

Oh, so its misuse because you don't like it? Please.

It's misuse because the lifespan of a show should be how relevant it is, not how much they can change it before people get sick of it.

NO! They should leave it alone, they are probably going to make new episodes in flash animation if they do.

Remember the most recent and final seasons of Dexter's Lab? It was all in stuffty flash animation and it looked terrible.

"THIS CARTOON DOESN'T APPEAL TO ME ANYMORE. I'M MAD AS HELL AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE. RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE"

Lord Tony, you now constitute as a delirious old man rambling about random things that ENRAGE YOU FOR SOME REASON

I AM MAD AS HELL!

Lego Island 2, spongebob, pokemon, uncharted 3's automatic ammo pickup, rugrats. The list goes on and on!

ADDED TO THE LIST. ADDED TO THE LIST. ADDED TO THE LIST. ADDED TO THE LIST. ADDED TO THE LIST. ADDED TO THE LIST.
I'm afraid to ask what happened to squideey.

They didn't change the show. The Rugrats ended. The newer version is a totally different show in its own right for a totally different audience. Its based on characters from the previous show sure, but its a whole new breed of programme.

I can see you know what I mean, but are stagnant at your point. I won't argue.

They ended Rugrats to show All Grown up. They killed off the show everyone liked and they brought in a show that would get stale season one so they added 4 more seasons to piss you off.

Oh ya, and it was a clone of VERY OTHER SHOW at that time. Rugrats was much more unique. Why did they prefer being a lesser version of every other TV show over being unique and still sort of good?

Not seeing the money in that.

Do tell.

Not seeing the money in that.
And you aren't seeing that calling something a "lesser version" is an opinion.

And you aren't seeing that using a brand not known for that type of show to make a common show is commonly lesser.

Not seeing the money in that.
Lesser things are capable of raking in as much, or more money compared to greater things. Take Call of Duty's revenue versus Battlefield's revenue as an example.
