Swain counters fizz mid and top, Nautilus counters fizz mid.
But yes swain is fun i like him because hes one of those ap carries that dont really have a "Counter pick" in mid other than galio

Swain counters fizz? Wut? Fizz can easily dodge Nevermove and can also apply a healing debuff.

Thats what everyone thinks, But swain is not about nevermove. Every time fizz comes to lasthit you throw swains E and Q to fizz they both do damage even if fizz jumps, healing reduce also doesnt affect swain because you're already building him tanky roa->mercs->Rylais/abyssal
I can record and show you how swain works against fizz next time i get one against me or acid 1v1's me

Fizz is also the optimal champion for countering AP Mids who have no sustain. Even with the healing reduction, heavy sustainers like Swain can just un-do the wearing down that Fizz does to him.
This also brings me to Ryze. Many people believe the Ryze hard-counters Fizz but Fizz beats Ryze at level 2 so you can actually snowball out of control with Fizz if you capitilise on killing Ryze at that level. So then when Ryze enters "The Ryze Zone" you are already out of laning phase and are one-shotting the ad carry in team fights.
