Me and him had the most kills on our team.
But we couldn't ever score an ace because in team fights either:
A) We all jump in, the APs get killed in seconds, I can't escape due to crowd control spam, and eventually die.
B) They jump us, me and Urgot get butchered as the 3 APs run and then can't do anything or they'll die instantly.

AD like who? Tanky DPS or Glass Cannon DPS?
Tanky DPS Should always be played as a tank with some dps items, like for Lee Sin I get Boots, randuins, banshee's, FoN, Infinity Edge and a Black Cleaver/Bloodthirster
Wukong I get Boots, Trin force, Randuins, Banshee's, FoN, BC/BT
3 tank items, boots and 2 dps items.
same build with Trundle as I do Wukong. Also remember Sheen is an OP item for GP, Shaco, Wukong, Nasus, Trundle, ect, anyone with On Hit effects you should grab a sheen.

Uhh, yeah, tell me a specific champion and I can write you a little guide as long as the champion doesn't suck richards. Soraka.

Alistar also does good with Sheen/Trinity Force because his ult raises flat damage.
