Before playing Veigar, I suggest you figure out what last hitting is. It's the most important for Veigar.

It's the most important for anyone. If you're still auto-attacking minions during the laning phase, you're bad.

farm q
like a lot.
once you farm it, you can probably 3-hit your ap carry enemies with it because of cooldown reduction and your stun. hit them with the q, stun then w, then q again and use your ulti if you think another q won't do it
i learned it from getting owned by an enemy veigar lol
