I've been making an AK-74. With that model I can make some simple adjustments to make an AK-74M, AK-101, and probably a few others as well. I MIGHT make an AKM-47, but only because I have an Airsoft version, if it weren't for that, I wouldn't even consider it. I will NOT make an AKS-74U JUST because it's used in the CoD:MW series. Also, I think it looks kinda stupid when you replace a wooden stock with a wiry frame that folds up, and if you add the full wooden stock to make an AK-74u, that'd just look plain ugly. Mikhail would probably get his original AK-47 and bash anyone to death that decided to make that IRL. IF I make the 1947 model, it will NOT be a MW2 version; I'll leave that to anyone with a death wish. I will use sounds from BF2:PR because they're as close as you can come to the real sounds without having your own professional recording equipment and the real firearm. Neither of which I have. /sadface
(To: Midway) (No-one else read!) (Unless you want to) (parentheses!)
So when you get fluent in blender enough to animate well, there will be 3 or more weapons waiting for you! =D
Unless you wanna try bringing the models into Milkshape (textures will probably be lost, vertices smacked around and faces face raped)
Editesque:
I think I will make a modernized '47 Kalashnikova, and I'll make an Airsoft variant because it's cool
