Also spikes "cream dream"

I literally just saw that again as Hax started restreaming and yet I still forgot to list it, derp

It's funny because the fandom has always believed that the end of Secret to my Excess was the official wrap-up of RariSpike, and that was just blown to pieces

There are a few problems here, unfortunately.

There are three Twilight Sparkle's in this episode. Future Twilight, Present Twilight, and Past Twilight.
Future Twilight tried to warn Present Twilight about something, we never found out what it actually was. Present Twilight came to the conclusion that Future Twilight tried to tell her that she needed to stop worrying and this is what Present Twilight told Past Twilight. This might be true, but Future Twilight could have been trying to warn her of something else entirely.

If you think about it, there is an obvious problem and a loop. Future Twilight must have been told by another Future Twilight about the same damn thing, and thus a cycle or paradox of continuously telling themselves NOT TO WORRY ABOUT THE FUTURE.

This can only be fixed one way: The very first Twilight Sparkle had an actual problem, and returned to tell her past self (not the past self we saw) how to fix it but failed. Thus the endless cycle. Even though this cycle exists until one of them doesn't go back to the past, the event comes to an end for each Twilight Sparkle that gets visited by their future self (/the ending).

Those guards were just awful. One shone his light on the walls but didn't shine it into the dark corner where Twilight, Spike, and Pinkie were.

I thought that they should have used Luna's guards.

haha, because of this episode, we are now watching Twilight Sparkle in a different timeline.
so much fun to think about

haven't even watched the episode and already mindforgeted

what

no

it's very linear and completely explainable

PT is visited by FT, who tries to tell her not to worry herself but ends up sounding like she's trying to warn her about a disaster

PT -- now T -- tries to prevent said disaster

In the end, T -- now FT -- goes back to warn PT not to worry herself but ends up sounding like she's trying to warn her about a disaster

FT comes back and realizes how dumb that was, but it completes the timeline

But which was the first twilight to tell past twilight that something is going to happend?
The reason Future twilight went back the first time could be to warn twilight that something will happen, but never got the chance to actually tell her.

she just the entire timeline

The reason FT went back was to warn PT that nothing was going to happen, it only sounded to PT and us that she was trying to warn her about a disaster

The "first time" was exactly the same as the "second time"

But she didn't have a problem until a future Twilight showed up and warned her.

1st Twilight Sparkle had a problem she wanted to fix and tell her past. She becomes Future Twilight.
Past (Present, as I called her in my other post) Twilight doesn't find out about that problem. She eventually acts out a similar story, comes to a different conclusion, tells tries to tell the Past Twilight her conclusion and fails again.

Now, all of these Twilight's continue to go forward in their own timelines, but this cycle is now based on the second twilight's conclusion. Something else happened to the first Twilight, probably nothing major, and now this.

We will never know what actually happened to the first twilight.

in the episode she was worrying about some sort of scheduling, maybe it had to do with that?
