forget if i know. i think it was like i was starting to fall into a dream and then i checked myself for some reason, and it turned out i was dreaming. i was in a chair, so i got up, and then my eyes kept trying to open. i fought it for a while and tried to get poni so i could have some bitchin adventures with aj, but then i lost
it happened again a bit later, only i realized i was dreaming off the bat since it was the exact same surroundings

Dream-Induced-Lucid-Dreaming. This is the weaker version of lucid dreaming but is more frequent and easier to achieve. This might be difficult but you have to focus on something. Focusing will gain you a small amount of awareness. If you start feeling too awake or your about to wake up switch to...well what I call battery mode. Think of a battery life gaining/draining depending on how awake you are. This is my only strong method against it.

If you want to try WILD then I have some tips that will benefit anyone who wants to try.

WILD? Sign me up.

Can you disclose some info on that WILD dreaming?

WILD is difficult, period.

Ta da!

I use MILD and I lucid dream just fine, so bite me.

uh, no thanks.
Sleep paralysis is scary if you expect it to be.

This topic is now about lucid dreaming.

God dammit read the guide I posted.

I've edited the quote to make it clearer.

Mega tip for those who want to start Lucid dreaming, I've been trying/failing/winning for over a year now and there are two ways which both work extremely well.

First Technique:

1. Make yourself tired. The more tired, the better.

2. Have a small amount of light coming into the room.

3. Make sure its not night time because then you'll fall asleep and wont have a WILD (But you can try. It's the normal time the body sleeps so it might not work)

4. Do not sleep on your side with your body facing a wall. Sleep with your face pointing at the ceiling (This helps quite a lot).

5. Do not think large amounts but let your mind focus on something, if you think you will not lucid dream let alone sleep.

Second Technique:

Basically set your alarm clock to 4-7 AM (or later depending on your sleep habits). Wake up, do step 4 and 5. This is the way I can trigger it. If you do all these then you have 70-90% chance of lucid dreaming.

Also, if you suffer from waking up in your WILD, use a simple image of a battery life to see how awake you are (works for me).

Pretty simple but the 4th tip is quite important.
