Is that, pink around her lips?
Whoops, that sliped my eye.

I feel that somethings missing here.
Dunno, i just don't feel like it's complete.

Also, i feel so dumb when i realised i can place the color layers BEHIND the loving base layers

she looks too fat and her expression is too mean also baby got plot

A little too much lipstick there, fluttershy.

tail extensions AND makeup???????

expressions suppose to be mean.
And i agree, she does look a bit fat and long.

Constructive criticism!

It's nice overall, but it needs some work here and there.

let's just put it this way: it's better than I could do

my best advice: trace references, copy references, references. look at them and see the difference between your drawing and it.

one easy one is your hind legs. it's missing the "hock joint" (the part of the hind leg that sticks backwards)

-snip-
I guess that trying to stray away from references is the wrong way.
I did this drawing without a reference, because all my other "drawings" where just copying the reference.

hock joint special interest

and ahhhhh that image

when practicing initially, the best way to start is with references. you're "training" your hand and brain to draw these shapes, patterns, etc. some might say you should do the same image several times in a row.

I still do reference-free practice myself, but most suggest references. looking at guides might help as well.

Ok i am far from being able to draw whatsoever. (I linked a few of the drawings i did awhile ago but they suck) and by the time i finish this stupid post we will be on another topic and i will look like an idiot.
Do not treat this as very reliable
I did read a whole lot of stuff about drawing though. It looks like your making really short straight lines when your drawing. You should try to make longer curved lines while drawing instead of those short lines unless you plan on tracing over them or something later. It makes the picture look sorta messy. You should be using basic shapes and stuff to gauge the size of the different parts of the body like circles for body and head size. I saw a guide that said the body is about 2/3 of the size of the head in circle size while the legs equal one head. I read a bunch of stuff from MLP drawing school which helped a bit.

Your drawing looks pretty good though. I think the reason it might look off is the head is disproportionate to her body and her eyes are slightly too small and pushed forward. Their eyes are really big and usually centered more on the head but you might not have known that if you weren't using a reference so that's okay.

References are a great way to practice drawing even if you are just coppying the pose and picture in general. It helps you get more of a feel for drawing that way.

The thing is i drew ponies before the tablet.
I am feeling a bit more connected with the tablet, though, which is the good thing.
I took time trying to fine those lines, but...
