She was also shown in daylight at the end of the second episode of the first season. Of course, that was the version of her without the flowing mane.

from what I recall in the two periods where she appeared, it was dusk or just hitting night
not really daytime/midday sort when the sun is still up and bright

speaking of Luna in the daylight, I hope they finally determine her mane-deal next season. Quite likely her magic-mane won't change during the day.

That would be disappointing, but I guess most likely since Celestia's mane didn't change in the afternoon during season 2.
