If you want to over think it, bird's bones are hollow, which makes them light enough to fly. We could assume pegasai are similar. Birds are also coated in waterproof feathers. Assuming pegasai are covered with feathers instead of fur, they would have enough waterproof coating to push around clouds and their hollow bones make them light enough to stand on them. And they have a factory to produce weather. They simply ship the product to the desired location.

I've always imagined pegasi to be much lighter than the typical unicorn/earth pony too. That would aid in walking on clouds, considering in a realistic setting clouds are not solid matter but made up of the various vapors and whatnot which eventually turn to liquid raindrops/other science that I'm not going into. Rather hard to keep a foot on something of that sort without some special properties.

This whole pegasai weight thing never occurred to me. I find it interesting now that I think about it.

Something else also came over me. How heavy is Roid Rage, if he has all that muscle, but he's still a pegasus that can fly?

Well, to spice up this topic with some dull thoughtfulness...

I'm expecting Season Three to be one of the best seasons so far, as the show is getting into a rhythm and acquiring a pulsing beating driving force. The fan base has already given so much to it and now the creators have to put the energy forward.

So the anticipation for me is brim, with all the hints at a new villain, Crystal Ponies, interesting duets, new songs, and possibly more revelation to the less than happy past of Equestria...
