I'm not actually bothered at all by the shortened length of season 3. I guess they have been trying their best to come up with new stories, which I'm willing to hand it to them. Besides, 13 episodes is still quite a lot in my opinion.
It's not a matter of how many stories they can come up with, it's how many are ordered.
Kinda dissapointed only 13 episodes though, maybe there was a good reason for it or something :O
I sense something big going on...
It's simple, really. The typical minimum ordered episodes for a new kids show series is 65. After that, they either finish then or write up a new contract and purchase more episodes/seasons. Or possibly a movie.
The Hub is a new network that needs to have shows. It needs hit shows in order to keep itself going, and from various sources, they've said this show has out-performed every other show on their network and also the highest-rated airings for 2/3 of their stations and all-time highest-rated airings for The Hub network in general. It's their ace in the hole, and a cashcow as some would say. They've spent a lot of money simply promoting this one show (billboards, special commercials, special toys, etc., you don't see this kind of stuff for just any TV show), does it really make sense that they would stop there? No.
I hear the word "
syndication" brought up a lot around this particular discussion, and although I am not entirely sure what it means, I'm assuming it is a sort of minimum required episodes for a particular block on broadcasting networks. Perhaps that also brings some information to light for these circumstances.
Simply put though, the chances of continuation of this series are extremely high. They might do a movie first, but they are likely to do more seasons.
also, since I'm here
