Why must you leave us front, i- i loved you :c! No but really that doesnt make any sense... its kinda like those wierdos watching that little girls show you know?
A brony is someone who is a fan of the show, not the fan art. Then again this topic doesnt say its just for brownies
You just pulled that out of your ass, a Brony is anyone who does anything with the show at all and is a disgusting title mostly used by people who love titles and who love to smear them on their bodies in front of other people.

IMO

Edit: that top quote shouldn't be there but it's easier to just tell you it shouldn't be there then to remove it. (cigarettepod)

love you to

I figured it out.

I don't enjoy the show, but I enjoy the fan art...Does that makes sense?
That means you're a furry. Which you are. So no surprise there.

I can't believe I used to like this loving show oh my god

By internet standards, you will be labeled as one by the masses if you have any connection to the show or fandom.
You don't have to label yourself, but that doesn't stop others. If you were to mention that you watch it/like the art/something related and say "oh, but I'm not a brony" that certainly wouldn't fly without many questions.

This is just assuming certain conditions depending on the person being chatted to, though. Not everyone will care, and it doesn't matter if you personally don't care.

The definition of the term used to describe a single person has been warped so many times over I honestly don't know how to correctly define one anymore. It's usually centered around parameters, for example "all you have to do is like the show and you're a brony" or "if you participate with the fandom you're a brony" and other things like that.

Something about that just seems wrong to me though. Using particular multiple variables to define a person/group, but then someone else will say "you don't have to like the show to be a brony" or "you don't have to participate with the fandom to be a brony." Rather confusing, then people will say "You don't have to be a brony to like the show", "you don't have to be a brony to participate with the fandom."

What I do know is it's not just a label. There is more to it than that, not in the terms of pride and that sort, but other things. Perhaps I'll think about this for a spell, or perhaps I'm not thinking clearly as I'm just waking up and am overthinking it.
