If Badspot doesn't step in to end it:

It will last a good while after Season Two, if they end the series there I would expect this fad (on this forum alone) to die down before the end of 2012/firsthalf of 2013. The year mostly is determined by when this season ends.
If they decide to create a third season, again it will last some time afterward.

I believe this is still alive mostly because another season is coming, and there is anticipation.
