Only real examples i got from the part "Plot" was on the episode where Twilight gets 2 tickets for the parade or whatever and she has to decide who does she want to give the other one to. What really disappoints me in this episode was the way how it ended. If Celestia was able to give tickets to all of Twilight's friends, why would she only give her 2 in the first place? Just dun make any sense.

oh, here's an idea. if you've ever played Animal Crossing, you would know it's a very chill and relaxing video game. no fighting, just bug catching and simple life pleasures.

i think that would be the equivalent in game terms.

edit: stuff, i meant to edit my post not make another post lol
Are there not multiple episodes out there where they have war and stuff? Like that series of episodes where a bunch of disguising spycrabs ruin some parade and so on.

Shush you.
Don't want to scare him away, now do we?
Im not really interested in this cartoon series, i was just curious why do you guys like to watch it.

Thats not the "plot" he's talking about, Sadly.
Yes i have heard about "horse ass" and whatevers trough sources like FunnyJunk and others.

if i'm reading you correctly, perhaps that is something related to the last episode. there is a bit of fighting and invasion

Celestia: Must have slipped my mind!

same goes for the voice acting.
Isn't good voice acting essential when it comes to bringing a cartoon to life, or is it just me?

this is pretty much what everyone else thought of that episode, lol.

i would think that is expected out of televised cartoons (or most shows) these days, to the point where the viewer doesn't have to think about it

This kind of here fails your animal crossing example. I'm talking about that 2 part episode that was advertised for long and everyone was flipping stuff apparently and waiting it to come out.

Probably the reason why i never take cartoons as maturely as English speaking countries is because all cartoons that come from the TV are dubbed in Finnish and one thing you should know about this country is that our voice actors suck more balls than than Mr.Bucket pops them out in a day.

the overall feel of the series is typically "chill and relaxing" was my point
they get a bit more actiony in the two-part episodes (and a couple of the single episodes), and yes i believe that we're talking about the same episode

well perhaps it's just me then
or maybe dubs are just terrible

Is the series more like a linear one that every episode counts as a part of a story or that it has filler episodes where just random stuff happens and the events are not spoken of anywhere in the future?

RHYTHMMMMMMM
I remember the rarity one, :o

So, what is that from, a game or something?

Nevermind, read description.

it's not from any game but it's based off of rhythm heaven

the latter. the filler episodes (known as "slice-of-life" episodes) are the majority of the series' makeup in episodes. there is little-to-no connection in terms of a plot/storyline, however a couple episodes will feature continuity but generally not something worth jumping fences over. the various single episodes give bits and pieces of information related to their world that fans have taken to recreate the very vague history.

the two-part episodes are where the real big storylines are found. the first two for example are obviously connected, and the second connects a few things related to the entire first season near the end. still, these stories are confined to their own episodes.

in the end, the series isn't connected in a deep way. some things are spoken of and mentioned in the future about past events, but it isn't often. the reason behind this is likely because it's a little kid's show. little kids don't really have the attention-span (or interest probably) to keep up with a 26 (or longer) episode story. that's something for the more older kids.

(do note that not every adult cartoon has a story either, Futurama, for example, is a personal favorite and there are very few episodes that actually link up. there are a couple details that last, such as Fry's love for Leela, but simple details like this also exist throughout Friendship is Magic too)

That's what i was asking.

I know the pony thing itself isn't a the game, but yeah, Rhythm heaven.

Celestia: Must have slipped my mind!
It was for Twilight to learn a lesson about friendship. Damn it guys, seriously!
