Still, there are rumours that Twilight will become an alicorn by season 4.

But, every rumour I've ever heard in my life always turned out to be false, so I think we'll be okay.

i believe those rumors are for season three
there is not really anything out about season four yet

if it does happen (which will cause rage), it is likely to only be temporary.
