...forget you hasbro high-up greedy corporate hogs who think that it's a good idea to force this on the show.

Seriously, guys, there's gotta be SOMETHING we can do besides just sitting here. I hate just giving up without trying.
Hasbro high-ups are probably forcing Twilight to remain an alicorn for the entire rest of the show. I honestly cannot see how the storywriters can keep the show's point going with Twilight as an alicorn princess.
Goddamnit, I wish they were legally allowed to give us more information.

I was thinking last night (hint that my logic is mediocre) and I wondered aloud, perhaps a single stuffty, crash-and-burn season would be a wake-up call to the executives at Hasbro that they need to stop stomping on the show and it's writers. What do you guys think?

TILL THE END
I believe I was freaking out about this last night before Reg and Blast told me to cool it.
Unfortunately, I can see Hasbro ruining the show very, very easily.
That's the thing about creative genius. It takes a LOT of work to get it going, but one wrong move by the higher-ups and everything turns to stuff.
...I can't stand it. I just hate sitting around here doing nothing about it, but Blast is absolutely certain that we're all powerless, and so many people think like that, nobody can get enough people to assemble to try to do something about it.
Sigh...
We'll have to watch the finale to be certain, but hope is dying.

This thread is going a lot faster than usual! Why?
Because we're debating on the topic of the show's eventual self-destruction caused by Hasbro forcing stupid decisions on the storywriters.

the episode is three weeks away, not enough time to redo the story. redo the animation. redo the voice acting. and pay for the whole redo. what happens is going to happen.
you can't do anything. accept it, move on.

here's an attempt at giving you hope: did anyone notice it says she emerges a princess? not an alicorn?

oh no
im not scared about the episode anymore
princess twilight is inevitable

its the future im scared of

I honestly don't care what happens either way actually.

The farther I go into watching the show the more embarassing it gets, and I facepalm a lot more than I used to. I honestly think the series is going bad already, Hasbro's just sealing the deal.

But that's just me.

I feel the exact same way. There just has to be something we could do. I feel absolutely bad that I can't do anything about it whatsoever.

Especially if I'm across the pond from them.

Because we're debating on the topic of the show's eventual self-destruction caused by Hasbro forcing stupid decisions on the storywriters.

That was kind of a rhetorical question.

Maybe not about the finale, but about the beginning of season four?
I realize this decision was a part of the corporate Hasbro, but there's gotta be SOMETHING that can be done to keep them from stomping the show into the dirt.
Giving up is not something that I take lightly.

This. This is why we're trying to act. We're trying to save the show's future, because it's too late to save the show's present.

Bill I really think you're overreacting
I can understand feeling helpless with the show's direction but it's not like it's the complete end, there will be fan spinoffs and such by talented fans
