the anon uploaded the rest of the book.
another thing doesnt add up: trixie causing trouble again, doing odd magical pranks with gilda. the book practically ignores Magic Duel
the book's story is basically Twilight trying to figure out how to be a leader/princess, Cadance tells her of a special spell, she tries to figure out how to obtain and become frustrated when she doesn't. Cadance had earlier given her a special magical necklace that she had as a young filly, it increases emotional feelings and focusing on the negative makes you feel worse and vice versa. she realized what was going on, went to find her friends, happiness ensues, she finds the spell and it says "friendship is the creed, it has been from the start! it is the only way to lead, with your Crystal Heart-" all is well, the end.
so in a way, this could be a prequel that is never mentioned in the show or perhaps parts are mentioned but not all the details. we'll find out in several months
also semi-related to that picture above, i found this thing on the Wonderbolt's origins
sort of a fan-fiction short-story i guess. it's kind of sad
Long ago, there lived a young pegasus of blue coat and yellow markings whose wings were very frail. He was teased, bullied, and beaten by the other pegasi who could fly. He knew one day he would fly, and then he would show them all.
For years he trained. Bones broken, cuts and bruises all over his body. His wings still weak, unable to fly. One day, as he walked the clouds of Cloudsdale, he heard a shout for help. He rushed to the calling of the voice, it was a young pegasus filly! She too was unable to fly, and was grasping onto the clouds as to not fall off the edge. Knowing she was slowly slipping away, he galloped as fast as he could and grabbed her hoof! She yelled out "Don't let go!", and he tried his best but she continued to slip. Voices were heard, the townsfolk were coming! "She's slipping, help!" he cried, but it was too late. Her hoof slid right through his and she began to fall. She screamed for help, but they would not be able to get to her in time. In an instant, he jumped, falling down at an intense speed trying to catch up to her. "Grab my hoof!" he yelled, she tried her best but she was falling too fast.
He tried to use his wings, but surges of pain coursed throughout his body, he couldn't fly! "Haha, you will never fly!", "What's the matter, can't you fly runt?", "You don't belong here in the clouds!" The voices swam through his thoughts, they wouldn't stop! The ground was approaching fast, many pegasi were trying to catch up but they were not going to make it.
"I can do it! I will do it!" he shouted! He forced his wings open, the searing pain almost too unbearable to stand, and he blasted through the sky down to the falling filly. With a quick corkscrew twist he caught her! "I've got you!" he exclaimed, but he didn't see the ground below!
... A loud crash echoed for miles. "Mister, are you alright?" He didn't respond. "Are you alright?!" she cried. The nearby paramedics tried to revive him, but were certain he was gone. The little filly cried, she didn't understand. He saved her, why him?
She looked at him, eyes filled with tears. Then, a simple smile came across his face. Upon his flank appeared wings and a lightning bolt, his cutie mark. She asked for his name, he replied softly "Wonderbolt." She cried, he was gone.
The citizens of Cloudsdale, saddened by the loss of the young hero, honored his memory with the creation of the Wonderbolts team. Known as the Gaurdians of Equestria, and the best flyers of the world.
Years later, that young yellow filly... became captain of the Wonderbolts.
